    ADA 90P build thread.

    got bored and set this up the other day. Im not feeling it so I think Im going to tear it completely down tonight and rescape it.



    ADA 90p
    ADA garden stand
    2x ADA ES600 filters
    Africana substrate with all the fixings. Tourmaline,
    coralife 150 MH with ADA green bulb
    all ADA glassware including lily pipes
    ADA green Drop
    Manten Stones (man these are expensive!!!!)
    ADA thermometer
    plants from luis navarro.

      my eyes go for the wood. but it looks great. i wish i had that.

          iono i always think these things look good but if u needed to refocus then you could move the tree further back and bring the left side mountain more into the foreground. that tree begs for christmas moss 'leaves'! the thing that didnt agree with me is the the light gray stone in the front right, it seems out of place. masses of similar items always seemed the best to me, so maybe you can find a darker colored stone?

            I agree. Im tearing it down but Im so torn because the wood is so nice and the manten is too. Which to use as focal!?!?!?!?

                that wood looks awesome so imo i would keep the wood but use smaller rocks and surround it?

                    +1 on the wood, thats an excellent piece. reminds me of mr miyagi's patch from the karate kid movie...turn it into bonsai

                      Your rock needs to tie in with the wood. Group some together around the wood so it looks lodged in to help give the wood some visual weight. I think that would help and create a focal point.

                        cool, like the way a tree breaks from a rocky crag on a mountain. i feel like writting a poem now. actually i need to go buy some grapewood too.
