Okay great! I have an odessey fixture and it has horrible end caps. They are some kind of cheap black plastic

Yeah, I had the same fixture and the end broke.

I got the whole fixture from home depot they are dual T5s, it already has the ballast, it is not for T5 HO, mine i have only gives you 28W unless you want a single T5 HO, but it is nice since everything is set for the 22" Lamps, now you can probably do it all with parts but I am too lazy for that.

$24.00 for the dual fixture.
