  • Planted Tank Journal: "Euphoria"

After 1.5 long month I finally got most of the stuff I needed to setup my first planted tank.

Here is a sneak peak of the gnarled manzita drift wood getting soak. I'll probably throw in the seiryu stones in there tonight to get those nice and wet.

I'm still waiting for ADG to get some soil so I can move all my plants from the 20G holding tank into the 90H.

Still waiting for these stuff to come in:

Hanging Kit for the Tek Light
    Eight Socket Control Rack

Still looking for the following items:
    CO2 Tank 20lbs+
    ADA Amazonia Soil
    Filter Glasswear
    Drop checker
    and a never ending list

    to be continue........

I won't be able to sleep with that fish beside my bed.

I got it from a setup I bought and it's already been sold. I think I have a lot of other pieces that I need to get rid of before I start hoarding like eklikewhoa.

harlequin rasbora arent really microfish. the last ones from my school are longer than the adult cardinals and twice as high. they are cool fish though. there is another rasbora that is smaller and looks similar.

IMO, the most impressive display I've seen is with ember tetras - Hyphessobrycon amandae

If you can flip the cost a group of about 50-100 of these in that tank would drop jaws!

I was a tank full of espies at fish r us on 242, nice little fish.
I agree though, embers and also blue tetras are sick.

                        Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
