    Wow. It's looking great, except for the lotus, which is looking a little sad...but it'll come bouncing back if you take out the snail. Ours grows like crazy without C02, I can only imagine how massive yours would get!

      Updated pic, lotus is gone thanks to apple snails but well left the bulbs for constant feeding and rearrange the telanthera.

        still looking great! that temple is looking awesome...too bad about the lotus. your tank made me want to get another one

          I haven't updated this thread but here is the latest pic of the refugium, now it has 5 cardinal tetras, and a colony of shrimp, snow and common, which I have lost count, and the cardinals haven't even contributed on controlling it. This is just after trimming the wisteria which that things grows like crazy, in two weeks it will take over the tank.

          my nitrates on both tanks have stayed constant around 5 to 10 ppm but I still do weekly water changes.

              yes indeed, it looks like a lawn now, when I trim it looks even better but it is a mess doing it, I have to use the syphon to suck up the grass but it still makes a mess.
