Ok ive got a biocube 14 going for my daughter and I am wondering since it has the built in wet dry in the back using co2 is not gonna work and Im not sure if its because of the bio balls really or what. But my question is if I remove the bio balls and put a sponge back there instead along with filter floss would that work to be able to run co2 on the tank?

its not the bioballs per se that cause the CO2 to be purged from the water, its the wet/dry action. if the water is still trickling across the floss and being allowed to mix with air then it will be exchanging O2 for CO2. you would need to figure out how to flood the filter area and set it up like a canister.75G Standard - High Light Planted Community Fish

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
