  • Texblast gravel

Anyone know if you can still find this stuff locally in any of the fish stores? I've got a spare 30G I'd like to find a bag for.

ok so I did a bit of research and I'm not sure they even make this anymore under the same name. It was pretty common about 15 years ago for planted substrate. It a small sandblasting gravel. I like it because it's bigger than sand but smaller than the normal gravel. If you know what I'm talking about or if it still exists please reply. thanks.

I seem to remember someone mentioning that Prosper @ Aquazoo may know where to get this stuff or its equivalent.

I'm not too sure what that is, but there's black sand from tractor supply co. There's two textures, a very fine and a fine which looks like tiny carbon pieces

I think I got some similar stuff from an industrial supply company down here. Its been years though. They are still there but not certain they would have it.

sounds like something you would put in a sandblaster.
