So... I lost 6.99 buying this "aquatic combo" plants from petco today... just to learn that they are not aquarium plants, this is really irresponsible from petco. Everyone else please be careful next time when buying stuff at these stores.

if you go to petco and look at the aquarium sections, they have a bunch of "aquatic combo" pots for sale. I forgot to google the name of those plants but I found out they are actually not aquatic plant and will slowly rot away just like those lucky bamboo. meh :(... I was just too excited about my new tank set up... that's why I went crazy with plants shopping... oh well lesson learn, gonna replace that thing before it rot.I have the patience of a goldfish....Comment

Petco and petsmart sell a lot of bog plants marked as fully aquatic plants. If you don't want them you can return them. I bought some kind of ribbon plant from petsmart and after i found out it was a bog plant I put it back in its plastic container and they accepted the return.Last edited by makatak123; 08-19-2012, 01:54 AM.10g Community Planted Aquarium

Yeah, i got tricked because they didnt really show the name of the plant, i google just to see a picture of the plant that's how i found out. I'll go to citypets for plantsI have the patience of a goldfish....Comment

It's too late to return, this plant is in a pot, i already took it out and planted in my tank. Nvm lesson learned ;((. I'll try to look for another plant somewhere elseI have the patience of a goldfish....Comment

They are not aquatic plants, they will rot away just like lucky bamboo if live submerge underwater. Anyone have wisteria and or ludwigia for me ;( out of cash atmI have the patience of a goldfish....Comment
