Was also thinking of rigging up some 6500k LEDs along the bottom of the mounting bracket to run with the stunner strip to help with plant growth.

Hmmm, sometimes they bury themselves though I still usually see their shell. I find mine in the back HOB all the time. Sometimes its 2-3 of them, apparently its where all the cool snails go...In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I was so paranoid that I chunked him out. I found the third one. He was buried deep into the sand bed. Also picked up some nice manzanita driftwood from HAW and 3 masked cories for the heck of it. Got some Amano shrimp from Bikeguru that I'll be using to clean up all the bio-film on the glass temporarily.

Re: Low cost, Low maintenance Nano ideas?
I was messing with the scape a bit last night. Which do you like the best? I left the scape as #13 for now. I still have some more ideas in my head but I'm not at home to mess with the scape some more. Comments or suggestions welcomed!

Re: 5g Fluval Chi Nano
Best not to bury the main rhizome portion. You can bury the smaller roots though. What I do is wedge the thick rhizome into a natural cranny in some driftwood, and let the roots go natural.30Long: L134 Leopard Frog Plecos X16, Corydoras Sterbai X9, Endlers X4
