Re: 5g Fluval Chi Nano (Updated with pics 12.16.12)
I'm partial to the messy look.
Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
I'm seeing a ton of skrimps now. Peewees are about juvie size now! Counted about 15+ juvies. I'd estimate about 30 total with adults. I'll take a video tomorrow when the lights come back on. Seems like all the fish disappeared and skrimps are everywhere.
The only two females I had got berried. Let's hope there's a lot of females with these babies! I just might keep these guys in my new nano tank as well.
the white stuff along the edge of the glass/substrate looks like a fungus. it is probably harmless, but i would remove it if you can, just to be safe. assassin eggs are usually deposited individually around the tank, and look like a small white circle inside a packet of clear jelly.
my fish house: 2.5g- ramshorn hatchery 6g eclipse- yellow shrimp, chili rasboras, yellow apple snails 29g- geo grow-out, angels, 12"fire eel, dwarf frog, apple snails 45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers
75g- 2 oscars, parrot, silver dollars, albino channel cat, syno euptera, bichir, baby jaguar, convicts, yabby 125g- fahaka puffer, rainbow shark
and about a dozen bettas....
Well, the pic isn't clear, but when I look real close, there are eggs in the middle of the web like thing. I've been seeing a lot of baby assassin snails in there recently.
