  • I think it looks like leftover food and detritus, IMO. Here is a decent pic of some Assassin snail eggs for future reference

Yes looks like that but in a tiny area plus web like thing near it. I didn't feed anything for about two weeks so it couldn't have been leftover food. I've been seeing more baby assassin snails pop up recently

          • One of the pygmy sunfish. First few minutes these two were introduced, they were chasing after shrimp instead of the microworms. They finally decided to take the easier meal after trying to attack my babies!

One of the WC Corydoras Bilineatus from WildPeru. I was originally going to add these two to my cory group in the 210, but I didn't want to chance them getting attacked. The cories and pygmies seem to be much more active now that they're in the tank.

              • This pygmy sunfish is funny. He thinks his reflection is more of his kind.

The new inhabitant. Thanks Jozle! He was exploring for the first 15 mins and then he just disappeared into the jungle. When I was feeding, he stared at the microworms for a long time before even eating one. I think he'll love the black worms coming in.

                          • First time feeding barley (I think that's what it is?). They seem to really love it.

                            • Gonna try to get these guys reproducing in this tank. Hopefully they get into the substrate. There's a lot of gunk in there.
