Here's the link to the guidelines to keeping freshwater dwarf shrimp. Easily found caridina shrimp are Crystal Red or Black Shrimp. As for the others, I don't see too much of them. Amano shrimp can also work and won't interbreed. A bonus is that they eat hair algae along with many other algae that some other inverts and fish won't touch. They can get up to 3" though.

I like to hide my equipment (intake, return, heater). You can do so by placing driftwood or plants in a well positioned place. My intake w/ sponge is quite hidden because of my driftwood and some of the stem plants. My current heater is ridiculously huge for the tank, but it's temporary until I can find a smaller one that is strong enough.
Im not sure of the plants name in the front. Its the same plants in the tank at that cash register at City Pets, and the gap is from where I accidently pulled it out when moving. I need more but I want to add some color, maybe some red or purple. If I see some thing I like when I am at a lfs i'll grab it. I go buy FG frequently just to look at shrimp and plants.

Ill just keep my Cherries, I have seen about 10-15 babies around, and 2 berried females. I guess I will just have to get another tank and get some pumkin's.

I picked up 4 from FG. Decently priced... I think it was $4-5 each. Good thing they only charged me for 2 of them! forgot I still have some store credit left with them but I'll probably stop by there to check out the plants. I'll be picking up 8 more hopefully for my other setup.

I was looking at my tank yesterday and noticed a plant growing on my other plant.

You can see some roots and a green leaf coming out of the leaf. Anyone know what it is? I have never seen it before. To the right of the shrimp.

            Thanks In Advance

Ill also grab some updated FTS's later

Some leafy plants will grow sprouts on its leaves to reproduce

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Well this tank busted a leak so I had to take it down, I changed to a 20 long.

Dont laugh at my ghetto light set up. Since the old tank busted a leak and I haven't been able to buy a new light. I will be hopefully switching to LED's for my other tank as well.

It looks decent enough to keep everything going until you can get a better rig. I like the layout and your arrangement, the driftwood is very nice indeed... Do you prefer not having the moss attached to it?

I liked the moss attached it didn't let enough light to the plants/ hair grass below it.

Ahh, that would certainly do it. We have had good luck with some needle leaf java at the base for a similar effect

Ill try the needle leaf java fern next time I rescape, I also just turned the drift wood that was in the 12 long and upside down in the 20 L. I think it looks pretty cool. I also removed the melon sword that was behind the drift wood and put it in my 3 gallon; I am waiting for the water to clear up for a pic. I think it looks pretty sick! lol

Awesome, can't wait to see how it all looks. I really do like the melon swords, but scaping with them can be a trick. I think its all the roow they have to have and they seem to clash with any structure too nearby. We found some black amazon swords and they are soo much easier to work around.
