The problem with the swords is poor substrate....they are heavy root feeders...also probably lacking badly in the fert section....PO4 is another main thing that is lacking but I would not dose PO4 without K, No3 and Iron.

Like ek said it's most likely a nutrient deficiency. There's also the problem of leaving the lights off 2 days at a time. Swords also like light to do there best. Maybe not 4 wpg, but they do need sufficient light each day. The outlet timers you can get at Home Depot, Lowes or Wal-Mart are pretty cheap, and would be a good investment.
