CLoudy Flourite Substrate

Hey, I just got a bag of flourite black substrate ($37) for my planted aquarium. I rinsed it out a bit but the cloudy water is still not going away, what do I do?

Option 1: Drain it. Put a plate ontop of the substrate. Slowly refill with the water filling onto the plate instead of the substrate.

Option 2: Do whatever ek says. :)

I flush the crap out of it.

id use those plastic shopping bags and pour the water onto the bag...

I use a plastic cup and pour water into it. Keep doing 100% water changes

LoL, It's been the only way I found to get it clear without the hassle of constant water changes.

Toss it in a bucket or cooler, shove the water hose underneath it all and turn it on.
