LOL! Just kidding. I've always wanted to do one of these. I "will" do CO2 though. Can't be any harder than a calcium reactor...

That last pic actually looks pretty cool man. I'd keep it. Variety is the spice of life, no?

Lol I will always be a reefer ! The planted tank has been really easy compared to the reef boat as demanding

Low tech still have the co 2 just haven't bothered with it yet I just use root tabs and a good substrate I guess I need to add more fish to creat more movement in the tank !

I'm thinking about adding sand on top so that my discus blue color would pop more but I'm afraid if the gravel mix I have coming to the top. Should I remove the gravel plant substrate and add the sand afterward ?

Currently I am not running co2 just been lazy and haven't hooked it up I just add root tabs every month don't really dose it just does it's own thing the plants are growing out of the tank and I have to trim every week which is a pain so I can only imagine what it will be like if I run co2
