  • Where to purchase plants

So I'm going to do a planted tank. My 20 gallon is too hard for my beginner self to maintain without the help of plants. Where is the "best" (selection, prices, quality, etc) place to shop for plants? What should I look for?

Also, trading with locals. What are you looking for?

I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Cheap, hardy, low maintenance plants. I eventually want to get pea puffers to live in there, so I guess plants for them. I bought a few bunches of something from City Pets and discovered a stole-away snail that came with. I thought about buying the pack of bulbs from petsmart and seeing if I could grow some myself.

Honestly, the best place to look for plants is from other members. It's much cheaper and a larger variety. There's also The Planted Tank (TPT). I found most of my plants that aren't as common in Houston on the Swap n Shop. Plus it's shipped right to you so you don't have to go out and drive with these idiotic drivers!
