Just started co2....

So I bought some kno3 (spectricide stump remover) because my tank is running through nitrates quickly since setting up the injected co2 but my question is with the flourish and root tabs and kno3 what else should I possibly be dosing?

Potassium, Nitrogen, and Phosphate are the generally accepted Macro ferts, while micro ferts are usually all included in one supplement (Flourish is a general Micro fert), occasionally adding Iron can be helpful with swords and red plants. Root tabs are Macro/Micro rich and are usually added every 6 months. I imagine you'll be fine otherwise. Feeding heavy is another good source of Nitrogen as it is the derivative in the Nitrogen cycle. Not sure about dosing with CO2 as I prefer low tech, but I imagine it just requires a stronger regimen. I'd start with monthly and move it up or down depending on your numbers and growth rates.

Maybe I'm lacking some phosphates... I dunno? I just started adding in kno3 because my plants started to yellow on me...

You can tell from the swords and cambomba...they are doing a little bit better but I can just tell something is missing I dose kno3 when I need to and flourish every other day my co2 runs at about 2 bps from 7-7 and 2 54w t5ho lights sit on the tank running from 8-8

Swords are notorious Iron feeders, that could be it. Not sure about the Cambomba, but it could be as well in a Co2 tank. Seachem makes an Iron supplement, give it a shot and see if it fixes it. Yellowing is sometimes caused by an Iron deficiency.

What area of town are you in? There are some lurker stores in oddball areas, though online is usually always cheaper. (there is a spot on your profile to add your area of town as it helps in knowing when your buying/selling stuff for relative distance)

If you have to order, you're better off ordering dry fertilizers through someone like Green Leaf Aquariums. They sell a beginner package for 15.00 but this will be FAR cheaper than paying for shipping of water in commercial ferts. You need to ensure that your plants have enough of all nutrients. The easiest way to do this is to follow EI, or Leibigs Law of Minimum. Essentially, dose enough to ensure you won't be lacking any nutrients and remove the rest through a large w/c at the end of the week.

Each tank is different, but its much easier to dose starting at a higher level and reduce than to start low, run into issues, and attempt to correct. I have tanks that take 3ppm phosphate 3x per week and other tanks that only take 1.5ppm.

I use a cheap local source and usually go with 10,000K instead of 6500K or general plant. Topdogsellers on ebay, you can buy groups for dirt cheap and he is out of Houston so shipping is generally quick.
