Thank you! Yes, I plan on using mainly anubias nana to fill of the rest of the tank. I would like another short plant like the nana but a different color though, any suggestions on that?

      • I think it'll look better with the rocks on the left scattered near the base of the manzanita branches.

          • Another update. Eheim 2217 is up and running. Jager 150w heater set at 77f, it was at 74f. Figure it be more beneficial to gradually raise the temp. I added more rocks, anubias nana, a bunch of crypts (not exactly sure what kind), and a xlarge Amazon sword. I removed all the val out. Still leaning towards wisteria as a background? Or any suggestions on what you would put there?

I still got more work to go on filling in the front as well. Well add more java moss carpet and narrow leaf sword if I can find more.

            I'm going fish shopping today!

Myriophyllum Mattogrossense is an easy grower and gets pretty tall, i'd do a mixed background if you can

What does H4N stand for? I'll shoot him a pm. It took me a while to figure out the rock placement. It came down to this being the best, and was already getting tired of it lol. Thanks again!

                  • Add a red plant somewhere slightly next to the sword in the background for contrast and focal point

                    • something like this would be cool... Ludwigia "Red" Hybrid and supposedly really easy to grow as well and not super demanding

                      • like Chester said or some native Hygrophilla sunset. They grow into pink and red hue, fast grower and not too demanding.

                        • I do have some Hygrophilla Sunset but I'm still growing them out... got them from some one in San Antonio because they are illegal to transport across state lines

                          • yeah =d they are native to texas. and ppl consider them a weed so it's illegal out of texas
