Fake plants, algae?

With any plant it will take time before it gets all nice and lush as everyone sees in pictures....also the more lighting,co2,ferts along with good substrate will speed up the process.

Brown, I think the best place to get plants is from other planted tank owners.  They are usually the healthiest and the portions are "usually" pretty generous.  Try the for sale threads on

You can find pretty much any plant you want, at a great price, and many post pictures of the actually plants you should receive so you know what you are getting as opposed to ordering from an online store.
