  • filtration for 20g planted

I am wanting to upgrade my filtration on my 20g planted tank as I am having O2 depletion issues at night. I know a member on here by the name of complexity had a high tech 29g planted tank with 2x xp3's, so I was going to get one for my 20g. Do y'all think his would be too much for the size of the tank.

If he has 2 on a 29g.. One on a 20g should work great.

That great Big. How's the co2 cycle coming?
I was having a problem with it. I stopped agitating the top of the water and it's been good.

It's coming along very well plant wise. However, the fish havent been doing as well....
Namely the corydoras, I think with the help of doubledutch I have narrowed it to the substrate making the water to hard. I need to switch to a better soft water planted substrate , but I don't want amazonia. I am honestly thinking of jut doing Gymno. Balzani and doing it like a bio-tope, then downsizing the planted tank. But nothing is set in stone, i still love this setup even though its been giving me issues.....

I will post up a journal later tonight.
