    welcome to the Box! nice looking plants. anything can be used to anchor the wood until it sinks naturally. the corys will like the cover when plants fill in more, or under the wood.

      Thanks the ludwigia in background grow the fastest they are already at the top of the water line, need to do some trimming and replanting.

        Try Jungle Val. it grows fast and tall. It can give cover and brake lines of site.

            you can get small bags of river rocks from petsmart but im sure most shops have them

                what about Lowes? Couldn't they be boiled? I've seen big bags of them there.

                    i usually get them at the local rock yard. I don't believe there is a natural stream in Houston where you can pick some up.

                      Don't buy river rocks at Petsmart. Go to the rock yard that sells them for landscaping. Much cheaper. Like 15 cents/lbs.
