sweet.....don't worry it works great.....you can see the difference it made in my tank over a couple of months.....you should also see tim's tank...he uses nothing on that tank....no co2.....no special lights......and he uses ordinary potting soil with no additives....his tank is gorgeous.....and i mean gorgeous.....he's got the greenest thumb i've ever seen.....

          Tracie,

Which one did you buy again?  Regular Soil or Aquasoil?

The others work....I never said it didn't and with the murkyness with aquasoil...if you follow the instructions it doesn't get bad at all and if done right from the get go you wouldn't have to disturb it again.

Aquasoil....think this was only like a few months from planting to this picture

It's actually called Schultz Aquatic Plant Soil at Home Depot.  It said it was a neutral pH and safe for all fish.

That is actually the plant giving off oxygen.

the last set of pictures is with inert sand.....weekly seachem flourish....no co2....simple enough?
I have also done low lighting/low tech tanks with aquasoil and the outcome was amazing as well.

This tank here ran on and off of co2 since it was not automated....guess what else? low lighting and the plants are all low light requirement plants....
