I have also ordered two new HO fixtures for this tank, More than double the lighting.

I did read some where it said the root tabs in gelatin capsules did not break down fast enough to give the plants the fertilizer inside the capsule. Does anybody know anything about that?

That should be more then enough light. The bulbs I use are the 6700 ones. They have more red wave in them. That is what the freshwater plants need.
