Ok now I see, still doesn't look bad and doesn't look like a plant deficiency. Looks like physical damage to me

Yes I think it is being done by a fish. I don't know which fish it is. There is a list of my fish on this tread.

There are 4 other leaves like this one.

One of the leaves got 3/4 torn off. It's happing to my swords, and they don't heal as fast as my other plants do. I will check other plants now that I know how to take close up pics.

I could set up a camera, and maybe put the moon light on. I don't know if the camera will see good enough .

              Are you snail free?

I highly doubt the tetras are to blame. If they were I'd be very surprised.

Ok. I have the handycam setup. I will also have the Fluva Sky led light set on moon light. I hope that will be dark enough for the fish that is responsible for putting little holes on my plants. I will have to watch the video to see if I can see who the culprit is.

It's the oto's. I know, I don't get it either. Apparently 7 is too many.

The fluva sky was too dark to record, so I put the video camera light on one plant that was getting hit hard. And all I saw was oto's chowing down on plants instead of algae.

You know what. My husband bought different algae wafers..... I wonder if they just are not getting enough food?

There is some spot algae on the glass and some hair algae on some leaves, so why are they not eating that?

I will go buy the sinking algae wafers and see if that is not the problem. My husband didn't know that there was floating wafers and got that by mistake, but I didn't think it would matter.
I will do my best not to remove the oto's first.
