  • 20L planted tank scape suggestions?

So this was the first serious planted tank I've started. It's been running for roughly about 4 months, and it's changed many many times. I switched to AS about 3 weeks ago, and the growth is amazing. I'm really not too sure what to do about the scape though. I know I want it to be natural looking but still somewhat organized. If you have suggestions as to plants I should change or replace I'm open to all ideas.
I've also been playing around with the idea of adding a few rocks, but again I really don't know.
Oh and don't mind the plants floating around on top. I threw them in there for a few days while I set up another tank.
    Thanks!

      How bout some fish?
Some small and brightly colored fish schooling fish like cardinal tetras would be a nice contrast to the green.

Yeah I actually have 20 Rasboras waiting in my QT tank while my ammonia goes down in here. Was originally going to put them back in here, but I am thinking about a different kind of fish. Cardinals would look pretty neat I must admit. I'll look around and see what  I can find for a decent price...

looks fabulous - with such a short tank and good lighting, you are going to have to really keep after pruining it.
But that will give you plenty of starters for your next tank.......
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Updated image. Trimming this weekend. REALLY needs one. But as you can see I finally added some fish. (:
The long ammonia spike is finally gone, and now I can enjoy the pleasure of tiny schooling fish.

Looks great. Are you using co2?

Some Red Cherry Shrimp would look good in there.  They keep busy and could fill out that tank.

great looking tank, i would really change anything. seems you are doing just fine on your own. and if DIY co2 is working, since its a small tank, i would stay the cheap route
