    Re: "Easy" Foreground Plant

I applaud your patience!  It is so hard for me to keep water and fish out of my tanks! :)

I bet it's gonna look great.  We found some great riccia at FG on Sunday, I'm using it as gound cover in my 10g planted.  I'm sure they have a little left.

    Keep us posted  :emtthumbs:

So the rock garden is out of the question then? If you want to do stem plants what are the ones you would like? like I said before; do not buy plants, let me know.

No... a rock garden is definitely not out of the picture. I just had this sitting around, but if you have some rocks... :)
I may actually like the rock better because all my other planted tanks in the past involved driftwood. As for what plants, I really don't know.  based on past experiences, I don't want a great deal of stem plants.

A walk around the neighborhood turned up a few rocks...but I was unsatisfied with those, so I went to eklikewhoa's yard and ganked some. Still needs work IMO. It'll do for now though.

The tank on the left looks good. What is the white jellyfish like thing in the middle? The tank on the right need some tall stones. The stones you have right now will disappear or will be barely visible as your carpet plant will grow. Is it glasso or marsilea ?

Thre tank on the left has been going for a while now. The jellyfish looking thing is a piece of romaine lettuce. I put a fresh one every morning, and that is what it will look like at the end of the evening.

Where would be a good place to procure these tall stones? Luis said the plant was Marsilea minuta I believe.

I agree....taller/bigger stones will make for a better lookin display.

I see you made it to the front yard but I have the good pieces burried in the backyard.

Wow. Try NEPCO it is a stone yard on Wilcrest. Or I know a place in Houston which has about 150 lb of ADA Seiryu Stone. I will be your accomplice if you decide to raid it.I guess its the same place you got your Marsilea from.
