Just wanted to share with you guys my recent creation.

I broke away from FW planted tanks for a little while and did the whole reef tank thing but honestly the reef tanks bore me and didn't give the satisfaction that a FW planted tank did.... so what else to do?

I have used macro algae and sw plants to make this.

My initial thoughts were to overstock the tank with inhabitants and feed heavily to provide the fauna with nutrients but that has died away. I have started to dose the tank with Nutrients to try and keep things healthy and plan to implement pressurized co2 in the near future.

Reiverix, one of the mods at The Barr Report, built a similar tank from his reef a couple years ago. Don't think he used a wave maker though. Nice job!

Yep, ran into Tom over at one of the macro forums pretty cool running into him there after reading all his stuff on APC/PT.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, The wave pump runs 24/7 unless I am feeding... there are things in the tank that have a hard time getting food otherwise.

That tank simply rocks!  Man, awesome.  I set up a macro nano (10G) several years ago.. I'll dig around for a photo.. but found it difficult to keep several types of the macro thriving.  Will the wave movement limit the effectiveness of co2?

I don't plan on having the co2 high like I would a planted tank... just enough really.

The waves would probably gas off a good bit of it but it doesn't break surface like a normal tank does so I'm hoping it doesn't. I have packed a good amount of fish in here and feed like crazy and so far I can't get the nutrients to show up.
