Good places to buy live plants?

I am looking for some local places to buy good plants.
I have been to T & T, Fish Ranch II, City Pets, and Extreme Fish.

Since you're in SW Houston, try Dan at HAW. I was there yesterday and he has a good selection.

1. HAW - Dan is super knowledgeable, super friendly, and probably the cheapest
2. Fish Gallery - If you find the right right guy they too are super knowledgeable, super friendly, but never as cheap.
3. City Pets - Hit or miss WYSISYG with no customer support.

3. Donnie and David are good people and will help at CP... also Luis is usually there so if you are lucky then you will be blessed with his planted knowledge.

I like the plants from Petsmart. They are snail free and you can get anubias for $5.00 where they are normally closer to $8-9 at other stores. I am always looking for a trade. I couldn't tell you the names of most of them. I go "that one looks pretty" and plant it hoping it survives.

Everyone has nice plants and perks of being a member is that the plant swaps are free for the taking if you need anything. Very knowledgable and friendly bunch.

What is HAW?

The plants at City Pets didn't look good at all. They were a little bit pricey too.

All of these good places are too far for me :(. Someone needs to open a shop on the northside for all of us northside folks
