Puffy destroys a mystery snail

I think I've had a little effect on them. I've read some threads that have gone multiple pages of bashing on a newbie based on unsupported nonsense and I can't find anyone that would go more than a few post with me.

I think I'm gonna "dumb it down" a bit over there cause I keep hearing about these "puffer gods" or " Elitist" but most so far have been one word posters with little credential.

Awesome vid btw! Makes me wanna pull mine out and get him his own tank! I couldn't feed pellets like that till mine actually eats from the surface cause he has almost 100 other fish that will rush him for it, hell they snatch the shrimp from his mouth already!

I found some small mbu tonight for 170 plus shipping 40 at bluegrass im thinking hard to push the buy button i already have it in the cart lol but i may wait for a bit to see if this guy starts swimming!

Right now I'm kinda had feeding him the shrimp stuffed with pellets but he has to get it quick and if he spits it out to chew it's game over.

The snails and crawfish are his main diet since it's easier to feed without the other fish getting it from him.

I honestly can't wait till it's MBU season again as well! I want to get a tiny one and try to add a second to my tank.

do you have a mystery snail farm? just throw a bunch of snails with a pump and some plants and bam all the snails you need

I think Madugo's method of NLS stuffed Shrimp really got him going looking for the stuff! either that or the Thera+A is what's doing it.

i think it is just that it got use to the tank and it's kinda a sign of it not stressed any more...i think soon it will be swimming left to right right to left by the upper front glass all day long lol..

lol good progress man...you would need floating pellets to have it eat from the top, that will create the eating habit for it to eat at top water lol...mine kinda jump above water try to grab food...

My MBU is starting to get a little more brave and a bit more curious as to what is going on in the tank now after Madugo posted about that. LoL

Really wow i bet that was kinda scary !I would probally jerk so hard he would come flying out the tank lol!
I used to be really worried when hand feeding my rays that there stinger would get me ,and i saw some pics of ray keepers hands on mfk it can be bad,and i bet if the puffer got ya just rite he could break the bone!

lol that's what happened...i jerked so hard and it didnt let go...so the next second it slammed on the ground...i was actually more worried about it getting too stressed than my bleeding finger...scary sound when a fish that weights a few pound that landed on the floor from 5-6 feet above lol...

Hell he barely comes out his corner but he does move some its like he depressed idk!

I wouldnt say its a farm but i have 10gallon full of mystery and ramshorn breeding like crazy so i moved some of the babys around to my other tanks and i have a lot they breed like crazy!
