try something cheap first to see how they react...
one thing I have read countless times... "ray's eyes look like snails protruding from the sand".
Plus there are no legal fw species of rays available to the great state of Tejas.
We do find salt water rays in brackish water. but not a good idea if L&L try to bite out their eyes.
Flounder maybe the better choise.Nothing Kills Evil Like a Sharp Stick...

The Ray is out. Even if they go in my 55g the Ray would outgrow it fast. I'm going to see if I can catch some small flounder next time we go to the Bay. some times at night you can catch little ones with your hands in shallow water. it would take about 8 week to get them to be in brackish water I think...Nothing Kills Evil Like a Sharp Stick...
