Ive read about pea puffers being bred you just need the right conditions and a good male to female ratio. I even read of other species of puffers being bred just need a really big tank and lots of plants to keep the aggression under control for the larger species. I guess it is easier with pea puffers because once they are old enough you can tell the difference between male and female.

cool man. many people probably miss out on the chance to breed since they keep them in smaller groups with only one male. some chest thumping among the two males may be whats needed to increase sperm vitality, that happens often with some herps. i want these guys more and more. i should have saved my new 28 gallon aquapod for these. doh.75G Standard - High Light Planted Community Fish

where did you get the adults from?my fish house:
2.5g- ramshorn hatchery
6g eclipse- yellow shrimp, chili rasboras, yellow apple snails
29g- geo grow-out, angels, 12"fire eel, dwarf frog, apple snails
45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers
75g- 2 oscars, parrot, silver dollars, albino channel cat, syno euptera, bichir, baby jaguar, convicts, yabby
125g- fahaka puffer, rainbow shark
and about a dozen bettas....
