      Here's a picture update:

Picture updates. I caught Annabelle to get a picture of the progress. She was "MAD" but I got the picture.

I know I'm probally asking for a mircle here but it looks like they have really thinned out.

Just a little closer inspection, I think they are turning white. From what I have read that's a good sign! That means they are dying!

I'll try to get another picture tomorrow and see if there is any change.

Looks to me the swelling is going down a little too, which should be a good indicator

That is awesome, can you share your treatment with us? I don't have any puffers, but just curious as to what kind of worms they are and how you're getting rid of them.

After this is finally over, I will have an article to post. A friend is helping me write it up. I want to make sure it's truely over first. After the first treatment i have to do a large water change wait a few weeks and treat again. I'm using levamisole hydrochloride, I don't recommend this unless you are 100% sure you have Camallanus worms. It's very harsh and can wipe out your tank. You have to be extremely careful of how much you dose, you don't want to use too little and you don't want to use too much. I met the guy that wrote the article Charles Harrison and through emails he's been a great help. He is also the person I bought the medication from. He's been very supportive throught out this whole thing.

A few things I have to do:
                        1) Treat the tank and all other fw tanks in the home.
                        2) On the 3rd day do an 80%-90% water change. Vaccum substrate really well.
                        3) Boil all equipment that you use in your tank, nets, python, scrubbers etc.
                        4) Do not clean the glass on the tank for 4 weeks, also do not clean rocks, driftwood or any decor you have in the tank.
                        5) Retreat in 3 weeks.
                        6) After treatment do another large water change and add carbon.
                        7) Once again Boil all equipment.
At that point I think you can clean the glass and everything if you want too. I haven't got that far yet.

Note: This thing can go dormant for an unknown amount of time. Once the worm/eggs/larve, whatever it is, hits water it will become live and reinfect the tank. This is why you must boil all equipment after each treatment is done. It's the only way to kill it. Hope this helps everyone. And I hope and pray that noone else ever has this worm. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

One more thing, this worm has a 30 day life cycle.

Received confirmation that Annbelle is out of the woods!

Doing an 80%-90% water change and have to retreat in 21 days. This is finally over!
