  • Quick angel breeder tank question

Would a BB 29g with heater and sponge only(less slate or potted sword) be ok for two adult proven breeding like jackrabbit pair of angels? they are half wild and have the short fins and temper of a badger.

Issue is they have taken over my 55g planted tank, killed quite a few dwarf SA's in the past two spawns and I need to get them in their own tank. I have an empty brand new 29 I can use.
I already have a 10g egg-2 week grow out and a 40 cube acrylic for a 3+ week grow out. I want to move 5 submissive angels to the 55 and use the 45H they are in for the replacement for the 40 cube which is our discus Qt tank.

I think id be OK doing this as its two fish in 30g of water and they give babies like a loose gas station slot machine.

Any input or something i am missing?

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

Sorry bout this, comp went down hard for a few months.

Oh long story short, 29g worked great. so great they were giving me near full clutches EVERY hatch. They sold like hot cakes, I sold out of them when I listed them within the first 4 days. The parents caught columnaris from some infected blackworms and I threw the fishyfarmacy at them to no avail, both died.

I am back to square one but there will be a new fish room build thread for that.
I appreciate the responses guys. Next angels to come from me will be pinoy phillipine blue leopards and red altums.

None yet, any particular strains you are looking for? We got a rather large circle of angel breeders up here that cater to the hobbyists not the posers.
