  • Angels not eating

I recently purchased 6 nickel sized angelfish yesterday from petsmart. Checked for diseases and anything dead inside the tank before i bought them. I didnt feed them until this morning and they werent eating flake. Before i bought them i asked what they have been feeeding them and they told me flake and bloodworms. I dont have any bloodworms right now. So will they eventually eat flake? And if i added an angelfish that was larger would there be bullying

Would it be possible to try bloodworms? Pretty much any fish will eat those.

If not, just be patient. They're probably still stressed out from their multiple moves. :)

It's not uncommon for fish to not eat for up to a week after a move.

well I got the blood worms and tetracolor granules.(the guy at xtreme said its good he feeds his discus and angels it. The angels went crazy for the bloodworms but not so much for the granuales. They take it in and then spit it back out. Some dont even take it in they ignore it. Will i have problems if i feed them frozen bloodworms as a staple and supplement with live mosqitoe larvae?
