  • angel fin rot?

I was given a very large angel fish, 3.5". She said it had fin rot, but i don't think it does, the area around the swim fins has loss scales and is fleshy. It eats and does not seem sickly. It was in a 20 gallon community tank. That was filthy. I have placed it in a 75 gallon tank with fish close to or smaller.

    Any ideas?

It came with a very aggressive gourmi (sp) I think it was picked on, it is missing lots of scales.IMAG0110.jpgIMAG0112.jpgIMAG0113.jpg

May be inflamed from picking. I'd try lots of fresh water and good food before medicating. A strong fish will often heal without meds.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
