I have a male and female green texas in my tank but so far no luck in getting them to leave each other alone...had the female a month longer than my male and when i first put him in there the female beat him up good, divided the tank and a few days later took it out then the male beat up on the female so I divided it again. Ever since I have been pulling the divider up a two days it's been about two weeks and i've tried the divider, lowering and raising the temp and feeder fish which they totally ignored....does anyone else have a suggestion or two that i can try to get these two to stop fighting? I'm going to soon!

Vin...you're doing too much man!!! Just leave the fish alone! There no need to get all worked up and make all these changes to the tank every time the fish get w/ each other. You want the fish to get used to each other being there and comfortable in their surroundings , but every time they get you go in panic mode. You have to remember you're dealing w/ an aggressive species...semi-aggressive if you play the right music and burn enough incense......but still the aggression is there. So :icon_jook: and just be . Only intervene if it a life or death situation...
