Nickel-size angels R how old?

Back around Nov. or Dec....I forget, I picked out the two blackest non-veil babies from a tankful of cuties at a LFS, Megan's.  They were about the size of a nickel then, and now have decided they're a pair and have spawned once.  I was happy just to have them getting along with  each other and not acting like meanies to everyone.  Well, they're not the "little angels" they were, but they're not so bad...so far.  I realized, though, the other day, that I had no idea how long it took for someone to raise them to the nickel or dime size babies I chose from.  ??

There are more experienced people out there to answer your question but depending on where they came from and water condition, size of tank and number of fish in the tank, how often and how much you did water changes, water temp., what you fed them etc.  dime size might be 6-8 weeks old?  later, ken
