  • Starting electric blue jack dempsey

Starting with some EBJD and blue gene JD as young fish. In hopes of mating them in the future. Any suggestions or guidelines for these fish on this project?

      +1 Ally

I have heard they are slow growers and can be quite a bit more sensitive then their parent species. I would recommend the largest tank size possible and keep up with a very strict water change regimen.

I forgot what gene it was with the EBJD but some of them are sterile. Never owned one or researched it but I remember that coming up in one of these threads
