Do any of you guys currently have a tank with this specific dwarf cichlid?

Or maybe you know of someone who keeps these guys?

Thanks Troy. I'm actually looking to re-home my little guy but ONLY to someone that already keeps them.

He is way to shy and needs company of his own kind for he wont hide as much. This is a "shy" species of fish that do best with others of their own kind to combat their shy nature. That's why I'm trying to find someone that already has a set up with several ot this specific type of fish in it. My little guy is fully grown at 3".

I seen its a low light fish and it likes cover. (floating plants) where did you get it from?

LFS close to a year ago I think. Amount of light & cover does not change things for this guy; I've tried everything. I strongly think he would be happy and his behavior would become normal if he was in a set up with other Dorsigera.

                Re: Laetacara Dorsigera

You try putting him in a black water setup with floaters, driftwood, peat moss substrate, and IAL?
