Just checked the tank last night after I saw some courting and saw about 40-50 Fry barely wiggling. About to seperate them SOON. I'll try to post pictures soon.

sweet.....always wondered how a colony of these looked like.

they are know as Poor Man's Tropheus. Never seen them in action but heard that they, like Tropheus, are quite aggressive . . . some would say extremely aggressive.

are you going to be selling the fry?

I doubt it. I think I'll build up a colony first. I used to breed these on campus and Im just trying to get a bunch since they are kinda rare. If I decide to I'll let you know.

Their dome looks like shields.....but the ones that showed up at the auction were juvis. Almost like a reverse dub.

The fry that I have are still so small that they look like any other fry. I'll try taking pictures of the adults I have and try to take some of the fry.
