I'm starting a 125g South American tank with red and gold severums as the "main attraction". I'm gonna go with PFS as my substrate with several peices of driftwood and some river rock with plenty of artificial plants. My question is, what do i put with them? I dont want an aggressive tank. Something easy going, peaceful and colorful. Any suggestions?

Salvini, Honduran Red Points, Cutteri, those are a few that I would recommend, but it might not be the "correct" blend ....If all your fish a smaller juvi's....it should work for a few months, by which time, you should be ready for something different... :)
How's them mpimbwe doing?

Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

I wondered about that too, Nick. In the meantime, I kept Uarus, g. juripari, firemouths, festivums, green cories and serpae tetras together with severums in a 125.
MarkWhat are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
