right now I've had the tank at a stable 84.5 degrees. I also have some baby koi angels in the tank. will they be ok in this high temp water? Me and my wife will post some pics of the babies when she gets home from work.
Angels and discus occur together in the wild, so the temp will be fine. However, angels are much more aggressive at feeding time and small juvie discus will get intimidated by them. For that reason I wouldn't keep juvie discus and angels together.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
the angles are soooo tiny that they dont seem to be bothering the discus yet, everyone seems to be eating pretty well, I sat and watched them eat to make sure no one was getting left out....i have the camera so we will get pics up tonight when i get home and you can see just how tiny they are, looking forward to tracking their growth on here though...
So far they are eating great. I'm feeding them 4 times a day. 2 servings of Spirulina enhanced Brine Shrimp and 2 servings of NLS Grow. I'm doing 75% WC every day. I hate that they have to stay in this 55g tank. I'm ready to set up my 160 and get this show on the road. We got some really sick rocks yesterday and we're getting some driftwood this weekend.
