Discus tank

Getting back into discus and going with a 150G I picked up. I will be running 2x Ecoexotic panorama pros and 1 Ecotech Radion to see which I like better. For filtration I am going to take some SW things I learned and apply them here. I will be setting up a refugium that will be planted with hornwort, moss, and anacharis to help with nitrates. Also i will be running reactors with GFO, carbon, and magic beans. Tank stock will be a school of cardinals and rummys. With a colony of apistos and rams.

I plan on doing around 7-9 or so. I am lazy and dont want a water changing schedule like I used to have. Plus I will have a lot of dwarfs and tetras. I will probably get a UV havent decided yet.

I like your thinking behind this set up. Looks like there are a bunch of Discus set ups going on. I plan on doing the plumbing on mine this week.

Update just got my new Eshopps fuge and I like. Just need sand, dirt and water to get the cycling going on.

Purigen, going with a purigen reactor. I will be on tap water. Discus will probably be Red Pandas and some kind of turq. But it's not set in stone yet.
