The dark side of my Discus

Today I was able to add the last 3 discus to my tank. The first 3 have been doing great with the exception of one of them saying hidden most of the time because the other 2 paired up and and were pretty dominant. Well today I added the other 3 which are noticeably larger than the originals, the paired discus wanted to show everyone who was boss. For such a pretty and graceful fish, those suckers can be pretty mean. Things have calmed down a bit but one of the new guys has decided to hide. On the plus side, the one original that was hiding before is out front and center. I think we are well on our way to establishing a pecking order.

The new ones just need to settle in... they will establish territories and everything will be fine. My group of albino blue diamonds used to fight from time to time. They never really do outgrow it. Add more schooling fish like tetras and rasporas, it will help distract them
