I like it. The tank has a simple, uncluttered look. The plants all look healthy. Great job.
MarkWhat are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

Yeah the others began making it look cluttered now with this plant set up I realize how small my fish population is

Okay, I know I'm jumping between three or four threads, but what you told me in the other threads for plant ferts etc is what you are doing in this tank?
I ask because everything looks VERY green and healthy!Experiencing an aquatic renaissance!

Well half of the plants are new so that is one reason they look so healthy but yes I do the regimine on this tank of root tabs since this is a sand substrate and liquid ferts with liquid carbon. This tank has no CO2.

Yeah they are tabs of ferts that are slow release as opposed to the liquid ferts that are quick gratification for the plants

Just an FYI I have seen more of the o-cats trying to eat the slime coat of my discus so I caught them all and sent them packing. I had gotten mixed reviews on discus and o-cats but now I have will say from my experience its a no once they discover it they keep going back for more

So I started thinking that the driftwood on the right was still making it looked cluttered and didnt provide more open swimming lanes for the discus so I decided to take it out and move one of my granite rocks in its place. Here is a picture I took its right after a W/C and the moving of the rocks and plants so its a little cloudy but tell me what you all think.
