    +1

I'd also clump the bigger rocks more closely to the base of the driftwood. Great start!

IMHO, for Discus you need some more cover. I would suggest more wood than rocks. But you don't need to overcrowd with wood. Leave them swimming room.

Yeah I want to find the right drift wood to put of that left side but I am also planning on put some of the long plants in the background. I can probably fit some smaller rocks in front of the drift wood but the space between that and the glass is small. Behind the drift wood are some smaller river rocks that are zip tied to anchor the wood down

I am also thinking about attaching some anubias to the driftwood what do you all think?

              Hi Sonja,

I just saw your message :)  Check out the thread "fish tanks gone wild" for the latest polka dot update, it under general freshwater. We did lose the white clouds (i think the water wasn't cold enough for them) and a few corrys (we still have 4 left).  Other than that everyone did great.  I'm having so much fun with the two setups.  I think I want to do a 10g ultra pretty planted tank with just a few fish next.  And I also want to do a terrarium.  Oh the possibilities are endless!

I'll take a few pics of the other 29g with the tetras and plants today so you can see it.  It's pretty nice....

I can't wait to see your discus in the 140!

I attached annubias to the wood in both my 29g, and it looks great- i love the natural effect it has.  I think that would be perfect for your setup, too :)

I love anubias. I could have a tank just filled with them.......but is must be the nana type. Big anubias looks funny to me.

Yeah it would be the nana type. Dan had a great set up that he was selling with a huge driftwood with nana on it I was going to get it from him but didnt have the tank set up in time so someone else snagged it

Nice set up.  Just a suggestion or opinion. I would move the driftwood near the wall to anchor it compositionally.

Looks great! I love the bottom drilled reef ready. Combo that with a room-dividing tank that's viewable from three sides like you've done and I think that's the ultimate.

My next troph/tang tank will have to be this setup. No substitutes!

So got back from Dan's and thanks for the advice and picked up a great piece of driftwood. I will take pics soon the sediment got pretty stired up in the process hopefully I can take some tomorrow and post. Thanks again for the wood and fish Dan. Thanks for the complement Jeebus
