Finfan -- beautiful fish. I recommend that you talk to discus owners here and people like Dan from HAW. Getting a book on discus might also help as discus are beautiful fish, but not the easiest fish in the world to keep. Once they are well settled, and in a good environment, then you will really see some great fish :)
I love the pictures :) Make sure that you for the most part have calm fish. Sadly I am going tell you from the pictures you showed, most people will tell you angels and discus dont go together because they are simply to aggressive.

Very nice! Seems we got the same V-Day gift except I went with the tiger turqs instead of the wilds. For more info on discus go to www.simplydiscus.com. There are a lot of people who disagree with keeping angels and discus together, but just as many who say it's not a problem. Get all your info and decide for yourself.
thanks guys, i'm still giddy from getting them yesterday, i feel like a little kid, they swim with such poise and grandeur, the good news.. they are eating like pigs and come up to the front begging everytime we go to the tank, bad news.. i need to learn more about discus.. i have read quite a bit, and i actually moved the angel pair to my 30gallon semi planted - where they are pretty much the only fish.. i want them to be able to spawn one without a hord of tetras eating their eggs, anyway, i'll keep you guys update on the discus, and btw... we got them from dan at HAW
Congrats on the new discus, finfan. They look like wild blues, though after they settle in and color up some the red spots may come through identifying them as greens. <high five>

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
