    anyone know how to get rid of a sudden bacteria bloom?
    210 gallon ~ S/A, C/A build; jaguar, dovii, flowerhorn, gold doviI, 2 red devils, pacu, shovel nose cat
    125 gallon long ~ African cichlids
    10 gallon ~ ghost shrimp breeding (fish treats) haha

    A 50% (or slightly more) water change followed by some AP Pro Crystal Clear will help, provided you have excellent filtration. It kinda does have to run its course though.

      Did you add more fish to your tank making the bloom occur ?
      Do you have enough filtration in the tank already ?

        It's definitely something you'll have to get through...just try and make your fish as comfortable as possible throughout the cycle.

            hehe 100% water change and clean your filters... just kidding B, dont do that... did you just set up the tank?? give it a week or 2, depending on your filtration... always happens to me, especially if i use a new canister filter or new substrate/gravel in the set up... good luck bro
