      i raised the water up and put my aquaclear 20 on it and everything is all better now, only problem i have now is my mono has a foggy eye.. why do problems always come!! how would i fix this?

        and now you are on your own. sry man. don't know bout foggy eye. but glad you were able to get the tank all clear again.

        anyone else on foggy eye? i always add salt (lol) and turn the heat up. i know melafix fixes alot.

          okie if the cloudy water looks "white" its a bacteria bloom, now is NOT the time to replace water.. Give that bacteria time to stick to surfaces where there is water flow (ie your filter) and let them grow.. these are your beneficial bacteria. In about 48 hours from now then do a water change.. you want the bacteria in your tank.

            Do you have a test kit to test your ammonia, nitrites and nitrates? If you want, bring some of your water up to the store and I'll test it for you. Cloudy eye is usually a sign of poor water quality (when it's not caused by aggression).

              i think i know where its from, the fish was moved around quite a bit yesterday, i was just wondering how to fix cloudy eye. it should go away by itself? i tested ammonia, it is fine. thanks though :)
