  • ideas for new 20 gallon tall?

i picked up this 20 gallon tall from jeebus and as of right now, i have no idea what i want to do with it lol. any cool ideas on what i could do with a 20 gallon tall? im thinkin bout getting one fish for it that would be able to live in it by itself and full size later on. or maybe a swarm of misquitofish or something lol. not sure, i dont really wanna bother with maintaining it that much, its just for fun (unless it turns out to be something cool). probably will run a sponge filter in it.

You could do some tetras or live bearers.
Fish are people too, they just have gills.

yeah just plant the heck out of it with low light and easy to keep plants and then small simple fish.

You could make it a planted invertebrate tank. Add tons of cherry shrimp, ghost shrimp, snails, freshwater clams and bamboo shrimp. Sounds boring, but looks pretty cool when set up.

lol so things are leaning towards low light plants with something easy to take care of. either shrimps or small fish. will a sponge filter suffice for them? lol

Technically, yes. But I would recommend a HOB filter - they're pretty cheap and easy and quieter than a sponge filter.

                Go with shell dwellers.
