has several good ideas.
just make sure anything going into that water hasn't been touched by those chemicals. for examples, nets, buckets, airline, decor laying around, etc. take it all outside for the time being. wrap the tank in plastic wrap, and once the bomb is done, you need to Air out your room too!! also, remember to TAPE the plastic, or it can seep under/over the plastic. you are basically sealing the tank.
IMO, do a hefty waterchange first so at least they are working with clean water, like Zulaab said, like 70-80%. also, filters, hoses, anything touching the tank, make sure it's covered in plastic and taped. I would even go so far as to wipe down your stands and glass after.140 New World Cichlids
125 African Lakes Victoria and Malawi
80 Lake Tanganyika (Burundi Frontosas)
30 Pundamilia Neyerie Ruti Island group
29 Tropical Semi Aggressive/Community
And to think....in January it was just the 29...)

turn off your filter, turn off any air pumps. COMPLETELY cover your tanks. I used very large 'drop cloths' that people use for painting, but i've also had to use towels and blankets. other than that, you're guys should be fine. make sure you wait the correct amount of time (and then a little while longer) before you get things running again. If it ain't wild caught
You ain't doing it right
